Chobe Savanna Lodge is located in the Eastern Caprivi area of Namibia. The Caprivi is a narrow strip of land on the Northern side of the Chobe River. Chobe Savanna Lodge overlooks the expansive floodplains of the Chobe National Park’s Puku Flats, an area that is ideally suited to Elephants, Buffalo and Hippo.

With an abundance of water and space the floodplains support an incredible diversity of animals and birds alike. Crocodiles bask on river banks, Baboons feed in the high branches of Ebony trees’ and birds of all types make this a safari paradise. As the lodge is mainly water based, boat safaris are the best way to experience Africa’s animals.

Fishing is also available for either Tiger fish or Bream and visits to the local villages will reveal the daily lives of the local people.

Accommodation

For guests looking for a private safari experience Chobe Savanna Lodge is the destination you are dreaming of. The lodge  accommodates just twenty six guests in beautifully decorated thatched chalets, each with a private deck, combined bedroom and lounge area and en-suite bathrooms. All the chalet are air-conditioned and complete with a complimentary mini bar for your comfort.

A swimming pool is set in the lush gardens for cooling off during the warmer months between safari activities. The main guest area and campfire is an idyllic location for sun-downers looking out over the floodplains and all the animals below. Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge and a family room is available.
