Chobe River / Namibia and Botswana

Cruising the waters of the Chobe River the Zambezi Queen is a 42 meter long luxurious houseboat providing an  exquisite opportunity to enjoy this unique area. The banks of the Chobe River are lined with lush vegetation making the vantage point of the houseboat a fantastic place from which to spot birds.

The Namibian side of the river offers some excellent game viewing and guides are able to explore the banks with Elephant approaching your boat to within mere meters. Game drives into Chobe National Park are possible at additional cost and this is well worth the adventure.

Visits to Impalila Island to see the 2000 year old Baobab, cultural tours to local villages, catch and release fishing as well as extraordinary sightings of Elephant herds as they swim the channels from the park onto Sedudu Island will keep you enthralled.

The top deck of the boat has a dining area, bar and viewing deck at the stern with a small plunge pool.

Accommodation

The boat has 14 suites with beautiful interiors, air conditioning and incredible views from a small private balcony. There are two triple rooms to cater to small families or as a children’s room. Rooms can be made up as doubles or twin beds.

Children from 13 years are welcome on board.

There are weekly departures every Monday and Wednesday for 2 nights and every Friday for 3 nights.
