Kenya Walking Safari
Laikipia | Masai Mara
Your safari starts and ends in Nairobi.
Our Kenya Walking Safari tour has been specifically designed for those avid adventurists that absolutely love being out in the wild bush of Africa. This tour takes you to very personal spaces in your soul, where your feet are the vehicles of your discovery of Africa. The bush and animals are that much closer on foot.
Your three days in the Laikipia will focus on wilderness and mammals. This part of Kenya is known for the highest diversity of large mammals in all of Kenya. Rare antelope such as Grevy’s Zebra, Wild Dog and Jackson’s Hartebeest are some of the highlights.
After your three days walking the wild plains of Africa you will be able to delight in the beauty of Kichwa Tembo. This camp offers welcome respite with game drives morning and afternoon in place of walking. Night drives and balloon safaris are also possible and highly recommended.
Kichwa Tembo has her own vegetable garden so you are guaranteed that your meals will be fresh and delicious. When you get back from your game drive, ask the lodge managers to set your dining table out on the lawn. You will have dinner under a billion stars. Engage with local Masai tribesmen and listen to the fascinating stories of their local culture.
The Kenya Walking Safari will open your eyes to the magic of Africa on foot.
